Such a pretty dish! I had to take pictures of it from every angle! Salmon with giant Israeli couscous. The salmon was well paired with the brown butter miso sauce! Healthy and light. Order a Muddy espresso with cold milk to complete the meal.
Slightly spicy with two soft shell crabs and crispy fried fish cubes. I enjoyed it. The soft shell crabs were fresh. I didn't expect the crabs as the menu stated, battered squid. I didn't expect the rice to be spicy but it gave the dish an extra kick! Best part was, my teeth didn't turn black from the squid ink š¬
Thick slices of smoked duck paired with lemak chili api sauce. Didn't think it would taste so good. Owner attended to us. He prides himself on knowing his customers. Told us he knows that it was our first time there since he has never seen us before. He kept on checking on us when the food arrived to ensure it was not too spicy for me. He even treated us to a pecan packed pie. Love the nostalgic ambience. We will be back for the fantastic fusion food and of course the ondeh ondeh cake.

I had a thin Belgian breton galette that was filled with avocado, a sunny side up egg and lots of turkey bacon strips, onions, baked beans and mozzarella cheese. Share it with someone and you will be able to go on to dessert.
Big Treasure Box. A generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on fruits and bite sized dollar pancakes. Sprinkle some coconut shaving, drizzle maple syrup and dig in. Good for sharing!
Delizioso! The squid ink was thick and black. Not a great dish for a first date but fantastic for any other occasion! The fried calamari was a welcomed addition to the squid in the sauce. I washed it down with a refreshing glass of lychee mint tea.
Had a nice lunch at the cafe. First and foremost, I like the spacious setting. When we got there, we noticed that many of the tables have been reserved. So that gave me a good impression.
We chose our food and we didn't have to wait long. We had the Brazzen Beef. See photo. I was surprised that the steak was sliced. It was juicy and tender. It went well with the chili aioli sauce and sweet potato fries. I especially like the generous serving of salad. It was a wonderful meal but a tad pricy.
The Smoke Duck was succulent and I enjoyed it tremendously. Now, duck is a rare dish at a halal eatery. So I was pleasantly surprised that it was done perfectly. The duck was sliced as well. Easy to eat and easy to enjoy.
Smoked Pepper Flapjacks
All my favourite stuff in one dish: pancakes, Turkey bacon with mushrooms. Looks nice, tastes better.
Ala Mak
Nasi Lemak- The Pancake Version
Coconut pancakes, otah with poached eggs. Good for coconut lovers.
The MJ
Chocolate chip pancakes, ice cream with caramelised bananas. Would have preferred fried bananas to semi mashed ones.
Chicken Tikka Naanwich - The Chicken Tikka was grilled to perfection. Paired with a runny egg and sauce it gives the traditional naan a nice twist. Can get messy if you hold everything up ;) But, it tastes better that way.
After having a steak, pizza and drumlets,we ordered their speciality Chempedak Creme Brulee. It was bitterly sweet and I liked it. The combination of the taste was unique. The added bonus was the actual fruit in the dessert. We
also had the Gula Melaka Drink. This was a concoction of Gula Melaka and red beans. This smoothie was not too sweet (just the way I like it).
