Chilli lime prawn tacos and Galbi short ribs beef tacos.
Don't be fooled by the mound of fresh vegs, beneath that is a gold mine of juicy beef and moist prawns.
The beef tacos were the clear winner between the two. Perfectly marinated and bursting with juice, it was a chaotic mess with bits and bobs falling out everywhere; but we didn't care. The prawns were flashed fried but still remained plump and tasty but unfortunately were sorely outnumbered by the amount of beef we had (each taco had like 2 prawns?)
Prices are pretty alright as long as you avoid the Margaritas. All in all a great experience at Vatos!
Spicy chicken topped with a sweet and tangy chimichurri salsa, lettuce, sour cream & Mexican cheese. This was one of our favourites that meal. The salsa was citrusy, sweet, with a lovely tang that lifted everything up! Word of caution: the chicken is mighty spicy.
Back at one of my favourite, "top 5" restaurants in Singapore for solid Mexican food. It's on the pricey end of the scale, but I know I'll never be disappointed with the taste and quality of the food here.
So much love for Lucha Loco's food – every thing that they bang out of the kitchen is sure to be loaded with flavour, it's like fireworks in the mouth.
This prawn taco jazzed up with a chipotle dressing and fresh salsa was so utterly delish that I didn't mind getting my hands messy – imagine sauce dribbling down my fingers and palm – in the process of devouring it.
