Thick slices of fresh melt-in-your-mouth sashimi. The must-have of every chirashi don. My personal favourites was the refreshingly sweet tamago, made tastier by the fact that it is slightly chilled. And of course, the swordfish and salmon.
Besides the freshness of the sashimi, the good quality of the Japanese rice with just the right amount of vinegar, is what makes this bowl stand out.
Dish: normal chirasi don ($24.90)
When one goes to the sushi bar, one MUST try the salmon aburi roll.
The dollop of mentaiko, torched together with the salmon, makes for the perfect cherry on top of each roll, leaving a sweet and savoury aftertaste in your mouth. This is undoubtedly the best part of the roll and its competitive pricing of $16.80 for 8 rolls makes it a must-visit place.
Both thumbs up for this dish!
