Never did like pork knuckles... until now.
Tried pork knuckles in Germany and it was meh. But then all the reviews were praising this to the sky so I decided to give it a try. And....
It was AMAZING. So tender, melt in your mouth pork, with crispy skin on the outside.
10/10, coming from one who doesn’t even enjoy pork knuckles in general.
AMAZING. Better than the ones in Italy. I picked the bread up and it was literally DRIPPING with truffle and cheese !!!! The bread itself? Omg...
A MUST ORDER!!!
Noodles as you can see from the photo, were soggy. Not much taste to it either. 2/10. Totally not worth your 22 dollars.
Just stick to the starters.
Peanut butter + burger ?! When I saw tyson's peanut butter burger on the menu, I knew I HAVE to try it. The peanut butter went well with the bun, but it didn't add much to the strong taste of the beef. But what I love about this burger is the cheese, which is surprisingly light and serves to cleanse your tastebud from the strong taste of the meat and peanut butter. Recommended to try for its uniqueness!
Eggs royale is a combination of poached eggs on smoked salmon, laid on English muffins, topped with a generous serving of yummy hollandaise sauce. The sides (hash brown and bacon especially) were yummy as well and made the presentation of the dish look better. However, I was disappointed with the English muffin as it was thin and too hard to cut up. I would have preferred the muffin to be thicker and of a fluffier, softer texture, instead of it being almost rock hard.
A highly raved cafe by many.
The writer can see why. The presentation of the food itself was mouthwatering and totally on-point.
The taste? Well, I would say that there's nothing special about the typical western dishes, BUT the salted caramel banana French toast (featured: bottom right dish) does deserve a shout out.
The mixture of sweet (generous sprinkles of granola chunks and banana) and salty (salted caramel sauce wow) was heavenly. Mmm. A dish unique to Pacarama, and a definite must-try!
