Hansik Korean family restaurant sits just above McDonalds in Queensway shopping centre. This place is rather huge which translates to an abundance of seats and much less a queue. Their ala carte menu is more on the pricey side. However, they do have a lunch menu which goes easy on the pocket. Ever since I came back from summer school in Korea, I've been trying to find a rabokki (ramyun noodles with the famous rice cakes) that could momentarily bring me back to the days of huddling in a neighborhood eatery in Seoul. Rabokki is like the ultimate carbo-heavy comfort food. I would say this version was rather satisfying and super duper filling! Would have loved it more if the gravy was spicier. Nonetheless, this would probably be the place to satisfy my rabokki fix till I fly off to the land of kimchi again.

Decided to try this for lunch because of its unique concept. Here, choose between white rice or kimchi rice (we chose the latter), then your meats and vegetables. We loved how the Kimchi rice was sweet-sour-spicy, but it was rather measly in portion. Ordered the vegetables and stir-fried zucchini; rather fitting with the Kimchi Rice. Garlic and Soy Fried Chicken were flavourful but lacked the crunch as they were left on the counter for too long. Overall worth the money, but its somewhere I would not spend my money too often.

Two thumbs up for Choo Choo Chicken's crispy, juicy and well-seasoned Korean fried chicken (2 wings and 2 drumlets) with seaweed rice. Probably one of the best Korean fried chicken I had, definitely worth a try if you have yet to visit Choo Choo!

The kimchi pancake never disappoints! And portions are always so huge that we're stuffed at the end. But we always, ALWAYS keep coming back

Finally a place that serves legit korean desserts in the west. Super love the injeolmi bingsu, they were super generous with their toppings!! Shaved ice was soft and fluffy and it wasn't overly sweet! The chocolate toast which they recommended came with a huge mountain of whip cream (I never liked whip cream) and I was kinda turned off by it.... But i gotta be honest, it doesn't taste as bad as I thought it would. The toast was crispy and buttery and a little whip cream actually goes well with it. Tastes like ice cream with toast actually. The Injeolmi toast was da bomb - buttery, crispy, sticky chewy rice cakes and a generous amount of soybean powder. And there's dried cranberries !!! (not too sure if it's me, but I usually don't think there's dried cranberries in Injeolmi toast?) Yummmz. All those for $23.10? There's a 10% opening discount off everything. Super worth it!!! I'll be back 😌😌

Heard many gd reviews of Yoogane. We ordered the seafood and the portion very big. The seafood are fresh and the chicken taste good too. Good service and great food. Will come again.

Just treated myself with a bowl od the best ģ§œģž„ė©“ (Jjajangmyon) in singapore! [Said @chinchaijiak . THANKS!!]

Since i haven't really try that many Jjajjangmyon, i don't think i should say anything about "the best Jjajangmyon".
But it waz reaalllyy gooooddd... šŸ˜šŸ˜
The noodle was chewy, and the seasoning was just right...you can eat it by itself, but with it's 'partner' [Pickled radish, onion, onion sauce] they become even better. All those will help you get rid of the greasiness and kinda balance everything. šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹
Ps : it goes very well with the kimchi too!!
