The new kid on the block, Chikin serves up delish chicken yakitori with Szechuan twist. We didn't have the guts (literally) to try the full spicy Szechuan flavour, and found the less spicy option to be just right. At $45 for 15 skewers, definitely a good deal.
Who knew whisky and Japanese yakitori would be such a big hit? Having trouble deciding which whisky to go for? No worries, try one of their whisky flights. Otherwise ask, and the friendly service staff will only be too happy to have a chat! P/s: do have some yakitori to go along; the eggplant is pretty awesome!
Serving up the fresh seafood at affordable prices - that's the motto of the NUDE team. The menu is rather small and we were bummed they ran out of the king prawn barlotto, but the fish was amazing. #seafood
Grill place along Boon Tat firing up dishes with their Josper Grill. The cheese gratin was a little overpowering but the lobster was fresh enough. On the other hand they might have overdone the seasoning for their aged ribeye steak as it was way too salty. Must say I love their murals and their night long happy hour prices for drinks.
Umami burger came with an aged beef patty (pretty good although minced a little too coarse for my liking) and straw mushrooms with a "umami" sprinkle that tasted suspiciously like instant noodle favouring. Hm. Nevertheless the burger was good and a steal at $19. Ambience was pretty chill and I loved their selection of bottled beer too.
Going loco at Lucha loco with sparkling sangria, amazing tostidas, and a very tangy and refreshing prawn and octopus creviche. #mexican
