Healthy
At Swag Opening today where they served signature salads or wraps. Seems like there will be direct competition between Swag and it's neighbour Round 8 right in e same stretch. Chose the Seafood Galore with sambalnaise sauce for $9.90 which is not really cheap to be honest. The portion is not as big but there's a generous serving of calamari and pawns. The Seafood is fresh since it's only the first day of operation so I can't comment much, but I guess I won't pay them a second visit in the near future.
New year, new resolutions, right? If eating healthy - or healthier, is on the list (as is the case for many of us), newly opened Guac & Go can help you with that. Opened by two avocado-lovers excited to spread their love for guac, expect healthy and affordable wraps and salads with a choice of original, mango, or spicy guacamole. What's more, they also serve up delicious cold press juices, smoothies, cold brew coffee, and one of their top-sellers, cashew nut milk.
Good dining concept for guacamole lovers like me! Had the Mango vs Poached Egg - portion seemed small but adequate. Guacamole was quite generous though the pig in me wants more! It did however took a long time for the food to be served.
Generous portions at reasonable prices. This salad comprised baby spinach, edamame beans, wolf berries, cranberries, tofu, seaweed, cherry tomatoes and teriyaki chicken.

A delicious, healthy and filling pumpkin salad served as a main at AEIOU where they called it Pum King and Queen of Grains, comes with a pair of roasted plump pumpkin wedges and quinoa with raisins, served with chick peas and greens. Love the sweetness of the roasted pumpkin, but I would prefer if there's an option for some dressing to add on to flavours and it would be much easier to toss together and eat.
The different types of fruit, all fresh and sweet, come in big pieces, and topped with a dollop of honey infused yogurt. I quite like it but I have to say, the "wetter" fruit and yogurt bowl at The Lokal occupies the number one spot in my heart. You can blame it on their chia seeds and housemade vanilla yogurt š
GƦst's weekend brunch is always solid, refreshing, and completely satisfying. Their brunch plates are truly unique and wholesome, made distinct with their remarkably good homemade sourdough and Danish rye bread. Go for Brunch Plate 1 ($20), which features a fluffy Danish omelette that's stuffed with potatoes, covered with bacon and is just oh-so-darn-good, alongside sourdough, rhubarb compote, brie, cream cheese, and homemade caramel. If decadence is what you're after, order their Pork Sandwich ($14) ā chock full of pork, crispy crackling, a red cabbage slaw, red apple and mustard mayonnaise. For something dead-simple, there's always the delightful option of Bread with Mascarpone and Strawberries for just $7.
// Yay @faithfy is back so it calls for a meet up with @amandamoey!!! š
