Ahh this was flamed beautifully!! I could taste the smokiness in the luscious, generous spread of mentaiko. They went a little too heavy on the vinegar of the salad sauce of me, but the ton of flavour, the punch of that sauce made it a great bowl for its price!!! 💖 what a gem!
No Calamari available again, so Smoked Salmon replaced. Prawns weren't the freshest, but salad managed to taste pretty good.
Other ingredients comprise cherry tomatoes, brocooli, tofu cubes, lettuce and nuts.
visited before and was quite impressed . this round im so disappointed. reminded twice NO ONIONS but still came with onions. no longer using romaine lettuce, and not fresh.
soup bland, as usual.
Part 2 of my healthy eating in MacPherson adventures! Today I tried SWAG which is an abbreviation for Salads Wraps And Greens. Their menu is pretty extensive compared to neighbouring salad shop, Round 8, but that difference is seen in the price diff as well. In the overall I was happy w my food and I would come back again to try their other offerings and maybe build my own salad the next time!
16.12.2014 \\ The Tai Seng/Macpherson area is slowly becoming a hipster place with the opening of a few cafes around the area. Went to Swag salad bar for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, quantity and affordable of the salad/wrap selection. You can customize your own salad/wrap with the wide array of ingredients or choose the custom mix. The Greek Apple salad consists of turkey ham, bacon bits, lettuce, green apples, walnuts and raisins with maple bacon dressing. Add $3 for a soup of the day (today was clam chowder) and tea/coffee.
