Eating Clean
New Week - old salad and cold pressed juice stop in the CBD. Guac is the short form of guacamole (name for avocado dip) because they served avocado based food. The stuffing was refreshing and zesty which makes it really appetising despite its big portion. A pity their wrap is slightly thick and starchy which makes it tough to slice
Mushroom soup at this newly revamped cafe previously known as Sarang Cafe to start the day! Thick and creamy with visible small bits of portobello mushrooms that is rich in taste
At Swag Opening today where they served signature salads or wraps. Seems like there will be direct competition between Swag and it's neighbour Round 8 right in e same stretch. Chose the Seafood Galore with sambalnaise sauce for $9.90 which is not really cheap to be honest. The portion is not as big but there's a generous serving of calamari and pawns. The Seafood is fresh since it's only the first day of operation so I can't comment much, but I guess I won't pay them a second visit in the near future.
Another NEW cafe opened 6 days ago, this place is also located at Tai Seng selling salad/wraps. Chose chicky chix with truffle mayo sauce that goes really well with the protein. The truffle mayo has a distinct smell but not too overpowering. Would prefer if the truffle taste is more distinct. Baked chicken breast is tender and not too dry. And loves the crunch in the greens. Totilla wrap is thin and not too starchy.
