I'm generally skeptical about cafes in malls, but this proved me wrong. Been trying to cut down on lattes but the Sea Salt Caramel Latte makes that tough. X= And I just discovered that their Earl Grey ice-cream is pretty good. Only $3 too! =D

Matcha-and-speculoos soft-serve totally rocks my boat, and the mochi 'donuts' are a stroke of genius, man. Give me this over Krispy Kreme anytime!

Today's med leave was quite a waste since I only managed to rest like an hour more. Most of the morning was spent at clinics: at a regular one for the obligatory MC, and my TCM for acupuncture relief for my super blocked sinuses. But hey, TGIF!! Plus my mutton soup was even more awesome than usual, and the shop gave us an extra portion of potatoes because I asked why those were missing from the 大盘鸡。=D

Wouldn't have made it here if @ironsage hadn't been raving about their homemade giant fishballs! Think my ideal fishball noodles will have the dry noodles and fish cake from A Noodle Story, fishballs from Kin Kin, and meatballs and hee kiaw from Song Kee. 😍

I'm not physiologically dependent on coffee, but I'll confess that I'm psychologically addicted to the aroma and the bittersweetness of a damn good cappuccino. And now extra grouchy cuz it doesn't look like I've got coffee on the forecast anytime soon. -_-

PS. Don't go rushing down to Mavrx, because #latergram. And they're closed on Saturdays. And they don't often have waffle cups.

Thankfully it's less opulent than the Parisian outposts, but it's also a little more squashed than I'd like. The chantilly can be a little smoother, but I'm happy enough with my L'Africain. The the raspberry compote in Josephine is just tart enough to counter the heaviness of the hot choc. Really hoping that they'll bring in the white choc version earlier, so I can get to mixing. =D
