I am told this is a Choco Latte. Essentially you melt that block of chocolate in that bottle of hot milk. Very hipster, but still just kind of tastes of milk.
They don't skimp on Nutella when you're in Thessaloniki.
Layers of pastry with sweet cream (tasted like there was honey involved). Eat only when you have the appetite and time to enjoy it!
Back in Thessaloniki, where pancakes are freshly made and Nutella is liberally spread.
Sebastian's take on a Filipino favourite. This is chocolate with glutinous rice ice cream with caramelised anchovies. It sounds weird at first, but actually went really well together; the sweet chocolate with the salty yet sticky anchovies. I only had it once but wish I had more just so the taste could grow on me!
Scotland's known for this, but this is actually the first place I've seen that has it on the menu. It's a strange feeling eating one because the batter makes you feel like you need to chew, but everything is so melted and gooey that it's like chewing nothing in particular (or very thick caramel). Goes well with the ice cream, though!
Sweet and sinful, a must have whenever I'm in the Philippines.
