Cheapest long black I've had at a cafe, at $3. Service was really good. The place is small, mostly for standig. Yet I saw 4-5 staff around. Coffee itself was great.

I keep seeing this dish in menus everywhere. Roasted Cauliflower with yogurt, with mediterranean elements. This rendition was not bad, but not that memorable. Added a sausage which looks out of place haha.

This was pretty value for money at $21++ cos I shared this with my female friend and we were still stuffed! They used chicken breast which was nice since it made the dish a wee less sinful. Waffles were alright, the pancakes are definitely better. But with the maple butter, it's really yummy:D

Quite impressed with their menu. I think their offerrings are more interesting and inventive than most cafes, which is commendable given that everything gluten free and dairy free. We had the King Crab Benedict and Mountain Yam Rosti. Both lovely. I actually distinctly remember enjoying the gluten free bread that came with the benedict. It had a nice chewiness to it, and was great for mopping up the hollandaise and egg yolk.

Pumpkin pancake with salmon, eggs, and hollandaise. Didnt think a pancake would make a good base for eggs benedict but this worked beautifully. The pancake itself was still quite sweet (though the pumpkin flavour was not distinct), bringing balance to the savoury components.

I had the salmon dish. The beetroot rosti that came with it was good, but the other elements of the dish just didnt come together for me. There was cream cheese (a lot), some mango bits (so little), salmon (did not taste very fresh), egg, ikura, and greens. Weird, no?

I liked my salad very much but my boyfriend's sausage platter was lacklustre. Definitely not worth $21++! Anyway, what disappointed me about this place was the unwelcoming vibes. They were prompt and actually polite but we felt so hurried while eating. I understand that they are very popular but when I still had a substantial amount of food on my plate and was using my phone, one of the servers tried to clear our table :/ Not so long after we did finish our meal, we were asked (nicely) to vacate the table as they had a waiting list. That's fine, but there were other tables that had patrons who have been at the restaurant a longer time, why ask us to leave before them? So that sucked. Overall it was a really bad experience for me, even the food couldn't save it.

Major thanks to Burpple for the Clinton St dining vouchers!! Absolutely enjoyed this stack of fluffy pancakes. The blueberry topping added a nice tang while the maple butter gave just the right amount of sweetness. We polished the plate clean! I shared this because the serving is huge, but the pancakes are so light I think I can finish them on my own! Or perhaps I was just hungry that afternoon because I saw a girl from another table only eat half of hers (what a waste😭).

Pretty expensive at $8++! I did like it though.

Had the kale and roasted pumpkin salad with goat's cheese and pumpkin seeds ($20++) and the mushroom pasta with buffalo mozzarella and sherry cream ($24++). Loved both dishes! Pumpkin was baked til tender, and all the ingredients complement each other. The pasta was very rich, which was to my boyfriend's liking. You wont see the mushrooms anymore but u sure can taste it, i guess it was minced really finely and was incorporated into the sauce. Staff was so attentive too! I actually read a lot of mixed reviews of this place, so I was happy to have had a better experience haha. Though to be fair, the other reviews featured different items.

We actually wanted to go to Ah Bong's Italian, but didn't know they open late on Sundays. Ordered the whole chicken (only $18!) to share with a friend. It was juicy and flavourful. You're given a choice of sides and sauce too. Best of all, no gst and service charge! So I only paid $9 for a filling and satisfying meal.

Enjoyed this meal very much! I had the poached eggs with eggplant and goat cheese on rye bread. Very wholesome! Tried a bit of my friend's salmon too, and it was good! Worth a revisit to try their sandwiches.
