Much love for how this golden perfection is done, a-little spice marination with tomyum on these golden wings. In fact, this is one of the most recommended dish in Gin Khao I would say. Imo, these are just perfect as bar snacks too!
Koo Kee has embarked into first residential heartlands in Singapore North-West Region, Bukit Panjang. Serving their signature Yong Tau Foo, delicious Chee Cheong Fun and other local delights at a pocket friendly prices. Definitely a place for gathering with your loved ones to enjoy the heathy eats they serve.
As above; Hotplate Spicy Yong Tau Foo served with rice [$5.00] as one of my favorites on their menu.
To my westies, something we have in place just for you and one thing you can't miss out while indulging in your hometown!
Bagus: 3.5/5
When dining @ The White House - Indo Cafe, this is one of the appetizers you should not miss out on.
Having their Kueh Pie Tee [$10++] as their signature. I like it how they served their pie tee cups and their delicious radish separately which allows me to fill the selection of fillings at my own desire and a full-bodied crunch out of it.
What you see here isnโt like any ordinary Otah which wrapped with a piece of banana leaf and toasted over the fire. But itโs an exclusive side of their โClassic Penang Otahโ, Steam Egg Custard with Fish Fillet seasoned with freshly squeezed coconut milk and their special blend of spices and herbs which gave me an overall experience of โI would love another round of this goodiesโ. Portion of their savory fish fillet was really generous and this is definitely one of the dishes i will recommend for families and friends out there. Bagus: 4.2/5
One of the most value for money brunch fare, given that spread of meats. I'm sure this would definitely please any meat lovers out there.
Traveling to secluded area for brunch was never my thing in the first place, but I'm willing to since my guest @daviddepe in town over the weekends.
Here's my late brunch over @paddyhills.sg ๐๐ป Kimchi Fried Rice - Over this beautiful display, I like it how it's done. Hangar steak was done medium rare as the main ingredient of this dish followed by Ito togarashi, negi and it ends with a little happy ending of sous vide egg ๐
The concept of Les Bouchons is simple. One page menu and comes with the theme of steak; Sirloin, Ribeye, Filet or L'Entrecote perfectly for 2pax. Each main course comes with a side salad and their famous free flow of fries. Don't expect much on their one page menu but with the selections given, the appetizers and desserts were amazing enough.
The above; Grilled Sirloin, Medium Rare, weighed about 300grams, a fist sized steak with a good spread of fries. My steak was perfectly cooked, evenly pink in the middle, alittle blood for flavor and golden crisp chargrilled on the edge. Despite being so tasty, it also gave me an organismic experience as well.
All in all, worth a try! ๐ด
One.Two Kitchen | Korean BBQ
The one and only Korean BBQ I've encountered that operates till 6 in the morning. I've always been craving for Korean BBQ especially after partying ๐๐๐
One.Two Kitchen serves one of the affordable range of pork and premium beefs, as without burning a hole in your pocket.
Here's what I've tasted last night with my boys for our late night supper, as we've order La Galbi (Grilled Beef Ribs - $35, Kkot Deung Sim - $35. Do pair it with their in house special red wine, Bokbunjajoo (Raspberry Red Wine) for a perfect ending ;)
We all know that June hasn't been a good one, well at least for me. July will be better, I hope!
So here's a good start with my all time favourite, indulging with their ultimate flavour - Roasted Pistachio Cone [$7.20] accompanied with sugared puff pastry stick as well as the toppings of chopped pistachio & a layer of cornflakes at the bottom. Every spoonful of this was really creamy and the flavour wasn't as strong as I thought. (in a good way)
It's love at first sight, gathered with the pool of chocolate accompanied with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
It's definitely perfect for sharing and the portion was served generously. #riderscafe
Love the spice of the curry and the crisp of the cutlets? Well, don't resist yourself to try one of the best Hainanese Curry Rice @ Maxwell Market.
China Street Hainanese has been around MM since half a decade ago and they're known for the longest queue during peak hours. A plate of irresistible curry rice is definitely worth the long wait!
This can be one of your awesome lunch ideas to bring your colleagues to when you're around the area โบ๏ธ
Over the past few years, the ramen craze has grown rapidly. From that few reputable restaurants serving good bowls of ramen went into different types of broth like Tonkotsu, Shoyu and even a choice to pick for Kazan style.
Many Michelin Stars from Japan started coming in and branch out their business in Singapore, and now we are spoilt for choices.
Chabuton serves a very decent bowl of ramen, in terms of quality definitely it doesn't beat those big boys out there but one thing I like about them is their broth isn't that salty as compare to others that seems to be too overwhelming.
So here's Chabuton Tonkotsu Ramen, do remember to pair along with their gyoza!
