Having a whole new dining experience @graintraders over the weekends. Build Your Own Bowl gives you 1 Grain, 1 Protein, 1 Hot Veg, 2 Cold Veggies, 1 Sauce & 1 Topping @ 16nett.
Brown Rice as my grains, Grilled Striplion Steak as my protein, Wild Mushrooms as my Hot Veg, Wafu Tomato & Crudités and Coleslaw, Asian Gravy as my sauce & lastly Furikaki as my topping.
Overall experience was fantastic, giving more options for diners to customize their own bowl of whole food.
When comes to Mediterranean Cuisine, I tend to be more skeptical and it's not an everyday meal that I can do. But dining at the most unpretentious cafe which given me a whole new different vibe about their brunch fare they served @artichoke_sg!
This Lamb Shashouka [$26] - Value for money & perfect for sharing in groups. I just love how the 2 baked eggs was served. Right smack in the middle, buried with spiced tomato sauce, slow cooked lamb shoulder was so tender and juicy coming alongside with their green chilli harissa which added alittle flavor onto it, kewpie yoghurt and not forgetting their humongous pita!
The selection of brunch items are rather limited to two small handfuls, but catering to everyone's liking and keeping it simple at the same time. This is definitely not the usual sight of bacon cuts, having on with maple glazed and accompanied with poached eggs, pickled red cabbage, roasted pumpkin & pistachio dukka.
Given its name, hands down to @artichoke_sg for this satisfying meal we had last weekend!
The truth to be said, I call this my kinda "comfort food" to wake up to. The lovely spread will be as perfect like having breakfast by bed. The soft baked eggs with their dou ban jiang hollandaise sauce are something to look out for in this dish. The salty jamon wrapped soldiers are equally delicious and with the scent of their truffle mash enhanced this meal to the next level.
One of the most innovative and accommodating brunch fare I've tasted. A beautiful spread of my personal fav ingredients which is; hash-browns, mushrooms, jumbo pork sausage and not forgetting their unique dou ban jiang hollandaise sauce over the poached eggs.
Oh and not forgetting their new space called 'The Recess'. A cute space filled with the old skool vibes, pick up sticks, chupteh and their straw chairs 😍 definitely a place that I would recommend for 'Get Together' with friends and families.
One of the most value for money brunch fare, given that spread of meats. I'm sure this would definitely please any meat lovers out there.
Once again, for lunch dates on your weekdays and brunch hangouts on your weekends. Be not afraid to dine at @thetuckshop as their recent launched lunch/brunch menus have given diners a new taste of east meets west creations.

A for Arbite serves one of the most amazing starters you can taste in town and it brings you flavors from home away from home.
So here's one of the Peranakan dips which called 'Buah Keluak' dips with chili salt to go along with Steakhouse fries!
This is something you should not miss!
Bacon Maple Glazed Donuts, this is one of the most filling desserts that I had in my life. A mouthful of goodness I would say, with the combination of bacon and maple syrup is perfect. Another dessert to have for people with sweet tooth! You know who you are 💁

Introducing the 'blackened pork collar' from The Beast! The pork collar was amazing and surprisingly the texture wasn't dry and it goes well with the cream sauce that is drizzled over. Mashed potatoes with fine beans as base! Nomz!
