Homemade fried carrot cake (chai tow kueh) with lots and lots of chopped spring onion. 100% satisfaction! Yummy!

Staying away from western brunch selection and cakes, our theme today was "Local Breakfast Spread" - fried carrot cake, steamed bao, vegetarian bee hoon, siew mai, banana kueh, fried fritters (you tiao, hum chim peng). Lovely catch-up, as always.

Everything homemade by friend and her mum. Very controlled this year, kept it at two popiahs + three kueh pie tees 😁 Yummy tummy!
