Rejoice for the coffee lovers with another new place for speciality coffee āļø and for avid coffee drinkers at Alchemist, youāll be glad to know the owners used to work there.
One of the owners, Luke roasts their coffee beans and offer a whole new taste profile that is clean yet nicely balanced. So chill and appreciate the cup of coffee while you partake in housemade bakes like Yuzu Pound Cake and Choc Chip Cookies.
Quaint rustic coffeehouse with minimal seatings.
A short walk from Hong Lim Park, Dawn makes a great spot for coffee lovers. A simple cup of coffee (beans from Community) with in-house bakes to kickstart a wonderful morning.
Coffee break @coexistcoffee.
Hidden on the rooftop level of the industrial building, take the elevator to the 7th floor and climb the stairs up to the 8th floor. If youāre in Bukit Timah for a hike, hereās a cafe for you to check out.
Using a self-roasted in-house blend, expect a more floral-acidy tang note for the White ($5.50/iced). So if you prefer nutty chocolaty note, opt for their Dirty Houjicha and Dirty Matcha ($6.50
Felt as though we were transported to Japan when we step into @suzukicoffee. Wooden styled with intimate corners, they even place a small Japanese Garden at the entrance.
Mainly serving drinks, expect a range of specialty coffee and some small packeted Japanese sweets to go along.
The popular choice will be their Anmitsu Matcha ($10), an iced drink made using Kyoto Uji Matcha served with a dollop of red beans. The frothy earthy matcha drink is nicely balanced with sweet Azuki beans, with the option to add on whipped cream.
P.S: situated in the Boon Lay industrial estate, it is best to drive over. Do note that they are currently cap at 15pax within the cafe due to the newly implemented measures.
Happiness is the smell of early coffee. An unexpected location for specialty coffee, but @equatecoffee has promising factors and will make a great hideout from the busy city.
Using a combination of Sumatra and Brazilian coffee beans, the Flat White ($5.50/tall) is low in acidity and smooth in body. Pair it up with a Canele ($4) or Earl Grey Cake ($4) for your morning fuel!
P.S: officially opening on 1 March 2021, they are currently available for takeaway only
Since itās their soft launch period, they are running on a tipping basis now. So remember to bring cash along!
No ķģģķģ or Big Boss but at least we can cuddle with Neukkun & Hayang! Though DOTS craze is over, you'll still see many taking photos together with them.
Coffee is of course one of the highlight here. Using specialty Arabica bean brews, you can customise your cappuccino or latte by selecting one of their three blends (K1 to K3). I only tried K3 in Cappuccino ($6 for hot, $6.50 for cold), which is a full-bodied blend with lingering aftertaste. Shall have to head back to try the other blends soon.
So have a lovely morning while enjoying a glass of coconut cold brew from Montana Singapore. Using coconut water instead, the cold brew are more refreshing with a tinge of sweetness in it
Quite an interesting session, learning how to grind the beans, compression and steaming the milk. But the toughest part š£, it was trying to do the latte art.
is a delicate coffee with no bitter aftertaste. They even provide you cinnamon sticks to stir if you like a strong taste.
Morning coffee run. Cafe latte here is robust and smooth but no surprise since beans are from 2Degrees North Coffee Co. Featuring HKG Disneyland 10th year anni Tsum Tsum!
