Loving the new spacious location! But I felt that the standard of the beef has dropped though :/ my beef was unevenly cooked - outside was slightly brown but inside was raw and chewy - had to bring it back to be cooked for a little longer. Meat was also a bit too beefy 😔 my mom was saying that the cut of the beef was not very good so hopefully this was just an off day! Truffle mayo is as good as always though. -

Loved this dish a lot! Risotto rice was done just right, and I love the seafood broth and the scallop bits. On a side note I like the taste and texture of the spinach which complements the risotto dish.
Note to self: ask for the Parmesan on the side; it made the dish taste cheap :/ -

IMO, the best appetizer that you can get at this establishment! This is how I ask for it to be served, with the nacho cheese on the size, cause the cheese taste is rather overpowering
Portion size has become smaller but it still tastes super good with the shredded duck confit and potato wedges bits. Truffle mayo is as usual always amazing. -

Wasn't particularly impressed. The prawns were nice and most importantly fresh (the prawn shell doesn't stick to the meat), but not mind blowing. The spaghetti had a generous dose of garlic but still tasted a little bland to me. Perhaps it's because I don't really appreciate spice, which is sth that wicked garlic prides itself for.

The chicken thigh piece is significantly bigger than the other selections, albeit being more unhealthy. If you're really starved, get any of the other chicken flavours and double up with a Country Fried Chicken - that will truly be a HEARTY meal.
P.S. Avoid the turd-looking mayo to cut back on (some) unnecessary calories

Finally got to try this after listing it as one of my "places to try". Was quite disappointed at the dismal portion; I could probably eat 2 of these before being full. Couldn't really differentiate between the shrooms and the beef in terms of colour. Enjoyed the extra dimension of texture that the onsen egg provided. However, the dish lacked any truffle taste to be deemed significant. With all the hype, I hope that it was just an off day.

This piece of chicken looked small, but surprisingly after consuming the dish I was quite full. I guess this would do as a second-rate version of what you would get from The Rotisserie which departed from Rochester Mall last year.

The reviews for this beef is accurate as it was done really nicely (we asked for a medium rare, I think). Each piece was nice and tender, packing enough flavour. And if you wanted a more intense flavour, look no further than the truffle mayonnaise to complement the meat. If you have a craving for some good beef and don't want to blow your pocket, head to the Betterfield for this awesome dish :)

I used to think that the Betterfield was overrated because of the crazy number of reviews and the (to me) mediocre Thai chili chicken wings, but this plate of risotto silenced my critics, it is simply sublime. From the crisp spinach, to the thick broth, to the flavorful butter mushrooms, and grainy italian rice, this gives top restaurants a run for their money. I haven't had good risotto in a long time but I think this can definitely compete with the ones you get at Prego! Congratulations to Chef Shaun on his quiet abode which boasts a fantastic menu - 好料 indeed. Look out for a fresh new menu with new items in a few months time!

The potatoes are absolutely delicious, I wouldn't know that it was cooked in duck fat if you didn't tell me, but I really love the truffle mayonnaise for this dish. The crispy flakes of duck confit was also an amazing addition to this already amazing dish. It makes me want to return to have a taste of the full duck confit! Only thing is that I found the nacho cheese a bit overkill and that the sauces kinda drowned the dish but nonetheless, an amazing appetiser to complement the lovely mains!
