I'm quite a fan of Jones the Grocer and I make sure I pop by this popular Australian eatery at least once a month. I have to say thought that Jones the Grocer is not perfect and does have a few hits and misses.
This is one of their misses.
At S$21, one would expect more on the plate with the Chicken Schnitzel. The free-range chicken cutlet is well fried, with a proportionate coat of partisan and panko crumbs and was served to me piping hot but I find the serving size rather disappointing. Would be great if the Schnitzel comes with a portion of fries. The accompanying shaved cabbage slaw is nothing to shout about also.
Not exactly something I would order again if I feel big on appetite.
My take? 3.5 out of 5.0
