O'ma Spoon new store opening at 313 Somerset, with a 1-for-1 Petit Bingsu special till end-May 2015. Love the light and fluffy, creamy texture.

Because when it's the exams period, what's more important than brain food? Slice it yourself but it's only $12.50 for this whole plate!

Extremely pleased with the choices that I made today, with the Kueh Salaat making the greatest – unfathomable that one of the yummiest kueh salat would come from a hip cake shop, but it truly surprised me in the best way possible.

Striking just the right balance of zesty and sweet in a fluffy, buttery cake is the Lemon Yoghurt, which the rather dashing attendant pitched to me as the perfect "light dessert" after a heavy meal. I quite agree.

For those who like a healthy dose of booze in their dessert (alkies, all of you), the moist chocolate sponge spiked with stout will have you swooning. A silky cream cheese frosting seals the deal.
