The fish skin is wonderfully crispy, going "crack crack crunch" in your mouth and with none of that nonsensical soggy crap you often get with trashier equivalents at coffee shops. This was true even after I slathered the fish and chips vinegar all over it! The cut of fries is nicely thick, with the right level of saltiness and potato taste that allows self-delusion of healthiness. 3.6/5

Here's Studio Cafe SG: serving local malay favourites along with some western foods. Cheap and good and not pretendious. (Fried Kway Teow was $6.50, Chilli Cheese Fries was $6) Sandwich is so-so though.
The ice cream place next door, Little Prince Creamery, is awesome too!

Walk into creamier and you will be greeted by the smell of waffles and you can't help but order it. Love the fluffy waffles but it could be slightly more crisp on the exterior. Though I hoped that they gave the option of just getting one rectangle, so that I can secretly sneak there and have one rectangle and one 🍦 all to myself. 2 rectangles force me to share.(🙊sometimes you just need some alone time w your sweets) Love the ice cream as well, one of my favouritest flavour there. Sweet and creamy with a slight salty note.

This relatively new cafe oozes oodles of industrial-chic goodness, complete with the original Telok Ayer Chung Hwa Free Clinic store front. Dig into My Awesome Salad ($15), which comes with a generous portion of greens, smoked salmon, avocado, chicken breast, duck rilettes and tomatoes for a healthy lunch break.
