Red velvet and S'mores waffle was really good. The waffles weren't too sweet either. Each of the waffle came with ice cream and most of the sweetness came from the ice cream and the toppings which didn't make me feel like I was gonna get diabetes.
Just by stepping into Forty Hands, I begin to feel artsy and hip. The furniture, cool graffiti and the outdoor sitting area all adds up to the experience. The Big Bang was certainly filling with tons of ingredients, but the star of the day was the truffle fries! The tasty sticks of potatoes sprinkled with truffle oil were delicious and I couldn't stop eating the salty and tangy snack.
I preferred the almond-peanut butter rendition, just because i am a fan of textured nut butters (esp almond!).
Common Man Full Breakfast & Piccolo Latte... Slightly oily (esp the veges & eggs) but overall this is good. Bacon is crispy and hash brown is more like a vege tempura. Posting more food photos under @coffeeandcravings (Instagram) go follow ;) #burpple #coffeeandcravings
$19 is a bit pricey for pancakes but the taste was really good, I love the mixture of Caramelized bananas and berry compote along with the crunchy walnuts and nutty crumbles. Only bad point was that the pancakes weren't fluffy enough.
Eggs Benedict with a twist! Poached egg on juicy steak with fluffy muffin and yummy spicy roasted potatoes!
Do you like breakfast? Do you like hotdogs? Then you'll love The Big Bang - A Guinness beef and pork sausage is practically buried under slatherings of Bolognese, scrambled egg, sour cream, chilli flakes and crispy bacon.
The vanilla wasn't overpowered by the strong dark chocolate tart and was able to balance out the dish.
However, the chocolate tart was so dry and stale. The Coast Settlement

My friends loved everything we ordered - matcha latte, sea salt chocolate tart. Still in love with their honey paprika wings. Was here before dinner time so didn't have to queue!
Pricey, but this french toast was massive and super worth it! Three fluffy slices of brioche slathered in caramel sauce and topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Plus caramelised bananas and an assortment of berries to help balance out the sweetness just slightly. Dying from sugar rush | โ โ โ โ โ
$16. Toasted English muffin, ham, poached eggs with Champagne hollandaise. The eggs are cooked perfectly, with oozy egg yolk. little details like the edible flowers that contrast the colours of the hollandaise sauce, adding that little bit of magic to the presentation. If youโre not keen on ham, thereโs always the Eggs Florentine with spinach instead.
Yum. ๐
