Love Dining
The tenderloin from Prego was a let down. First it came out slightly over medium with a small portion of pink in the middle. The staff was nice to request a refire but it came out medium rare. My recommendation is to stick with Italian classics.
Prego revamped both its decor and menu. However, I preferred the food of old Prego. The cod was good, flaky and loaded with richness of flavors. As I am not a fan of soft skin, I wished it was done crispy.
Lovely start to the weekend with this seafood platter and free flow Tattinger.
The meat was cooked to a perfect medium but I wished it came in a larger portion.
And it brought me out from the sea to the sky.
Under the same brand, I have the feeling the price for the same kind of fish is not aligned. I had this fish at $9 per 100 grams. I do recalled when I dined at Tung Lok Seafood, the price is $4.80 per 100grams.
It is good when tung lok keeps reinventing to keep itself competitive. This claypot dish is fragrant and tasty. Paired with a bowl of white rice, this is comfort food.
The light celery sauce makes me thankful it is not an unhealthy dish.
Fragrant barley rice complimented with mushrooms.
Healthy assortment of avocado, beans and lettuce drenched in spicy tangy salsa.
Welcoming the weekend with a good lunch.
Tung Lok Shin Yeh revamped to Teahouse. A break from the Taiwanese cuisine. This duo of fried fish and roast pork is definitely a good choice if one is opting for surf and turf Chinese style.
