[Siglap] Back in camp and so not looking forward to the outfield starting tomorrow. How I wish I could be out now having supper, more specially at Springleaf Prata Place for a Plaster Blaster with Masala Hollandaise Sauce ($5). This dish was created for the Ultimate Hawker Fest 2014 which proved to be an ultimate eggporn hit. Absolute kudos to the genius to come up with the innovative idea of stacking a plain crispy prata with slices of ham, a poached egg and homemade masala hollandaise sauce. Can't wait for Ultimate Hawker Fest 2015 which I heard that they will be participating and introducing another one of their new creations. Till then, I can dream about it as I lay on my bunk bed and try to fall asleep. #hawkerpedia
Second try today and scored these crispy pratas at 0945am within 5-10 mins!!! They tend to be sold out at 1130am so you need to be early! While it was good - crisp prata without being too doughy, I wouldn't really wait too long for it!! Their fish curry and sambal chilli was a very good combination too đź‘Ś
This veritable institution for wan tan noodles in Joo Chiat has a meatball noodle dish that's worth checking out. For $6, you get 6 large balls of minced meat that's been mixed with finely-chopped carrots, onions and Chinese parsley before being fried till fragrant. A great supper option if you aren't watching your waistline.
This is a plate piled with Duck Meat, Eggs, Tofu, Liver and Beansprouts. And mind you, this is a two person portion:P #duck #lunch #brunch #asian #streetfood #hk
Still one of the best pan mee, it may be slightly overrated but the pan mee and chili is no doubt addictive. I love the saltiness of the minced meat and spicyness of the chili, the noodle could be a little more chewy but still đź‘Ť

Some friendship and ties are brewed over a palatable meal and therefore I live to eat.
