Feeling quite peckish right now, wishing I could chew on this mochi sandwich with rice cereal powder and almonds... #toast #mochi #icecream #dessert #sweet #koreanfood #sgfood #food #foodporn #burpple #eatoutsg #RAGEeats
The sweetest way to end a long day. Get these complimentary (3 pcs per flavour) with a minimum spend of $90 at Din Tai Fung outlets across Singapore!
Peanut butter "nougat" sandwiched between two chocolate layers, drizzled with buttery caramel sauce & topped with roasted peanuts. A rich, gooey, sweet, nutty & chewy dessert. Oh-so-sinful but sooooooo good!!! PS: The "nougat" centre might be a combination of peanut butter & marshmallow fluff cos it was soft & chewy like marshmallow. Just making a guess here.
A signature item on the menu, their Taro Waffles is a pleasant departure from the norm. It's not apparent in my picture but this soft-style waffle has a filling of taro (yam) paste within, making every bite extra "taro-fic" 😄 Good news for lovers of yam.
The cakes here are really well made - crumbly and moist. Really loved the white chocolate raspberry. Perfect balance of sweet and slight tartness from the fruit. The pandan was good too - mild natural fragrance of pandan together with the light cream cheese frosting, yummy! They have a wide variety of cakes here and they all look so good, would definitely come back again to try more!
Chopped walnuts invade this banana loaf like brave warriors waging war against the banana in there. So you get lots of crunchy texture throughout which keeps it interesting. The size is quite big too; definitely worth the $4.
Saccharine and decadent, this sizeable pie has layers of dense peanut butter mousse and chocolate sponge cupped in a crust of Oreo crumbs; a smattering of baby marshmallows, choco pops and milk chocolate sauce lounge across the top. It would be overly cloying if not for the scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, which slices through the richness of the pie with icy coolness.
Buns are crisp but the churros could do with lesser cinnamon. Nice cosy place. I'm pretty impressed.
$8 for the whole roll, it was so soft and yummy!!! Happened to walk past and kaya was still available yay it's so good!
More and more places in Singapore are offering the well loved multi-layered mille crepe cakes. Here are the Hokkaido Milk Chocolate and Matcha Azuki Mille Crepe cakes at Doi Chaang Coffee. I like that the cakes are not too sweet and the crepes are so thin and creamy.
