Rushing reports and crunching numbers and wishing I had this huge-ass pizza to stuff my face with right now.
No wood-fired oven to bake this big baby, but the house-made crust is perfectly thin, crispy and yeasty. Evenly sprinkled across the top are shredded basil, rocket leaves, sun-dried tomatoes and melted mozzarella. Good stuff.
Parsnip purée, mango gel, potato chips, mango salsa, mirco herbs. They sound so fancy, but isn't really. The scallops, mango salsa and parsnip purée went well with each other. The savory compliment the sweet. But what I am slightly disappointed in this dish, was the unnecessary adding of mango gel and chocolate/coffee powder. Both didnt add any value to the dish at all, except perhaps decorating the plate. Simplicity should be key. If only the scallops are bigger, then I would totally be over the moon. 😍😍 Overall, yummeh.
Simple and colorfully plated. Unfortunately the dish isn't quite on par with my fancy. The bread is flavorful but too dense and heavy for my liking (I like my bread fluffy). If they could tweak it slightly to have it lighter, it would be a joy. The spoonful of cod dish, did not match my expectation. I was expecting that burst of red-wine in that watermelon, but sadly all I have is that watermelon. Cod was cooked right though. Overall, nothing to shout about.
Easily one of my favourite items available here. First bite it actually does not hit off; the intense and sharp flavours of Earl Grey Tea just does not hit something that was supposed to be rather light yet sweet tasting. As one digs through to the bottom, it gets really fragrant, with a bit of custard-like flavours starting to surface. Hidden within was the poached pears, soft and crunchy. A well put together and innovative creation that I would find myself ordering yet again during my revisit.
A traditional Dutch treat resembling small fluffy pancakes, typically served with powdered sugar, butter and syrup. Perfect piping hot on a cold winter morning.
Strangers' Reunion introduced this incredibly fluffy hotcake sometime early last month. Could this be the answer to starting the new trend of hotcakes after waffles.

HK138.00 | These cute-looking pancakes aren't just pleasing to the eye, they also taste wonderful! Adding to the appeal is the fact that this item is unique to Moomin's Hong Kong outlets — you can't find it in overseas franchises! Nestled within the Moomin House above lies three types of tantalising desserts.

Great food for sure!
Unfortunately, the fish looked pretty flat and I would prefer that the chefs prop up the head of the fish by placing some ingredients below. The gravy was uniquely Thai, with lots of lime and spices. Try this in your next reunion gathering, perhaps?
If you would like a bomb to set off in your throat, this SUPER SHIOK and spicy is the one for you.
