Finally there's a way to solve the veggie eating issues for all parents. DIP IT IN CHEESE!! So sinful yet so awesome.
I was blown away by this dish. It just melts in your mouth and taste wise, just spectacular. A great catch in a restaurant that signatures in seafood.
The very beautifully cooked toothfish that was just stunningly good. I've never heard of toothfish before this but now that I've tasted it, I'm blown away. Not to mention the breathtaking view of the sea aquarium's tank.
The Mona Lisa's. Beautifully filled with cheese and a dipping sauce to sweeten the taste. This is a favorite for frequent visitors to Museo and is a definite must try. Just like Mona, you'll definitely smile after eating this.
Pomelo tea. It's mid week Wednesday and all you can think about is for the week to end so you can kick back and relax. But where you say? How about kicking back and relaxing with a pot of this unique drink? This blend of tea will definitely bring about a sense of refreshment
Carbonara. The dish was just amazing. The yolk was runny which added a whole new flavour. It wasn't too creamy. The bacon, omg the bacon. It speaks for itself. Amazing dish.
Lobster risotto ($40). Probably the best risotto I've had in Singapore. The lobster was sweet and the overall taste was just amazing. It wasn't too salty and it wasn't bland at all. Service excellent and the dish just took my breathe away.
If you're going to name yourself gyoza king, you better have some serious backing behind you. And viola, here with have their signature pork gyoza. The skin wasn't too thick and the fillings weren't too little. It wasn't too oily as well which was good. But there wasn't really much to compliment the dish. They had a set meal where you would have a bowl of rice and a side dish. Side dish was a little displeasing but nevertheless, the gyoza was the main show and it definitely showed up.
Pork chop fried rice. One of the few mentionable dishes that I really enjoyed. The egg that was fried into the rice added a nice flavor. The pork chop wasn't too oily and had a nice crisp to it. Eat it together with chili and viola a very yummy and affordable meal.
Sadly a big disappointment. The chicken was too tough and there wasn't enough Chinese wine added to it.
There isn't a need to fancy it up, the taste of the food speaks for itself. The fish being so fresh wouldn't need to pack a lot of different spices and flavor into it. People nearby would start queuing at 11 and it gets crazy long towards 12. You know it's good when people join the line even when it's super long. However, do note that Amoy food centre is under renovation till Feb 2015.
The service at this place was good. Though the banchan (side dishes) wasn't that impressive as compared to the other Korean restaurants out there. However, the hot stone rice with beef was quite yummy. It just wasn't "nomg this is so delicious" yummy. Just something missing.
