Eye popping Sweets!!!
A signature here is the UGLY SUE. It is ugly outside but beautiful inside. The crumbly soft meringue is filled with passionfruit mousse, rolled with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.

Palova with strawberry ice cream. The sweetness and the tartness takes your breath away. Try the chocolate cheesecake.. awesome! for one who likes cheesecake less the sweetness and taste of the cheese...
Can't believe it's halfway through the semester but I only had my first ice-cream fix today (night actually). I'm having 2 of my favourite flavours - Milo Ping Pong and Nutella. Check out the mini marshmallows in the Milo Ping Pong.
I think The Missing Pan falls in the sweet department. This dessert bears close resemblance to a regular nougat, but with a frozen texture. The crunchy pistachio nuts and dried apricots make a stunning combination with the meringue sticks, however it tasted limp and only looks great.
I asked them what's their most famous flavour and they said peanut w kidney beans and mango. But I love taro so I chose taro and peanut w kidney beans. I must say the peanut w kidney beans was really good! But the taro wasn't fragrant enough. I should come back for the mango next time!
Have you tried them yet?
This spacious cafe along frankel avenue is a chillout alternative to bustling Dutch Colony Coffee a few shops down. You'll be greeted by the aroma of freshly baked waffles, with fascinating combinations that we'll go back to try. The rainbow cake beckoned with its gorgeous colours and we couldn't resist it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Coconut is Selfish Gene Patisserie's take on a deconstructed Chendol, using elements such as Pandan jelly, Red Bean Ice-Cream with Red Beans, Coconut Pudding and Gula Melaka. Despite the deconstructed nature of the dessert, it felt pretty cohesive; Coconut Pudding with desiccated coconut gives that strong refreshing aroma while the Gula Melaka brings the other elements such as the homemade Red Bean ice-cream and Pandan jelly together. Red bean ice-cream was sufficiently flavoured, enhanced by the red beans at the side. Feedback that it would be nice to include an Attap Chee along, which the chef had also had taken into consideration as told by their staff when we were leaving.
The presentation is cute, but on the other hand, I do find food served in flower pots a little off-putting, especially when it looks so much like soil. Just psychological, of course. Tastewise, this kitschy chocolate-and-cream innovation certainly did not deliver the satisfaction that comes from a boozy powerhouse of a traditional tiramisu, but then again, I don't suppose it's meant to be traditional in any sense.
Love the ambience, never say No to the sweets menu and Vanilla meringues! The cakes are for dessert lovers who love their cakes less sweet. This is one of the places to find Baked alaska - sugar x 10! Perfect venue for your date who loves delicate desserts.
