Wonderful food, great place to watch dusk fall with the Sultan Mosque in the background. Armut Patates (bread-crumbed baked potatoes with a spinach and cheese centre) and Kunefe (the photo above, baked pastry, honey, cheese and pistachio nuts, unusual and yummy) are the dishes not to miss.
Warning: we have heard that this hidden gem is closing down next May! Seriously the best won ton soup we have had in our two years in Singapore. Chicken Noodles are moist and flavoursome, and so cheap. 65 years in the one family, no menus and the place closes when they run out of food, so get there before 6.30pm most nights (we go for lunch on weekends).
