wanted to order the same fries as the couple at the next table but we ordered the wrong thing. but this was SO GOOD. a unique combination of both marshmallows and mozzarella cheese that melts to form a slightly sweet creamy cheese blend that coats the fries
Here's the flat lay on both dishes. Here's the Unagi Donburi and Gyuniku Donburi. 🍚

It's a place that serves different kind of food, ranging from mains to sides like seaweed fries and Bedok like this, worth the visit I must say 👌🏻

We tried the all in one boat ($6.5), Rice Rolls with fried dough sticks ($6.5) and fresh prawn roll with egg. The all in one boat comes in a smaller portion than expected but is very thick in texture - much thicker than those I had in HK. Checked with colleagues who went last week and it could be the issue today only as it wasn’t like this before. However, there is a lot of ingredients included so quite filling for us.
The rice rolls with fried dough sticks is bigger than expected. The fried dough sticks is not crispy enough but not bad. The prawn roll with egg (and veg) is more on the sweeter side, probably due to the soya sauce. But i would say 3-4 people should share one rice roll. It is a bit too much for us. I had a taste of the HK milk tea that my colleague bought. It is too sweet for me and not authentic - they use jasmine tea rather than english breakfast tea I believe.
Cheap, portion is great and good food. Chicken grill is done right, but the sides are abit sad. They need to step up on handling huge orders, and then this grill could be better. But nonetheless, $7.90 for this dish, loving it. Loving hawker fare.
The pale blond bed of batter was too light and airy to count for anything, but that hulk of meat tenderised for 24 hours in buttermilk and then deep-fried in a super-tasty batter clearly shone as the moneymaker.
Two layers of spicy rice sandwiching mozzarella – the heat from the hotplate melts the cheese into thick, gooey strings that glue the grains and chicken together. Insanely delish, that's what this is.
Big portion and tastes superb!! Need a super huge appetite to finish alone. SGD34++
Tried two burgers (pretty normal), soft shell crab (a bit too oily), cheesy meatballs (that is really legit because cheese really do explode out and splatter all over-that's what happened to me) and salted caramel cake (very moist but because the servings is huge, it's better to share with people so it doesn't get too jelat towards the ending)!
