The twist here is the puff pastry used in place of bread as a vehicle for the yummy local fillings created by Chef Damian D'Silva of South East Sliders. The Big D, or chicken curry devil, was big and bold in the flavour department from the aromatics and spices used to marinate the moist and tender shredded chicken. Strangely enough there was some sort of nacho cheese in there but that worked surprisingly well too. Lipsmacking innovative street food, but can be pricey at $7 for a smallish portion.
Zhuwei from South East Sliders and his megawatt smile. The queue for their tasty grub was MAD long.
By The Travelling C.O.W. Chocolate shavings and slices of beef between plain buns. Sweet and dry at the same time :(
The folks at Artichoke have nailed it with this one. Velvety smooth refreshing coconut ice cream paired with savoury Jagabee chips, pretzel, pomegranate and caramel sauce. The sweet/salty contrast here is perfect. Genius! $5
Bartender doing his thing.
Deepfried ramen, glazed teriyaki chicken. Hard to eat but really tasty. I got lucky and snagged the last one!
