Battered soft shell crab and Thai seafood Otah is loved, especially having it hot. Then again, I 💓 fried food 🙊
[Marine Parade] A table filled with food is always a welcomed sight, especially when you have just ended a 2-week reservist. One of my go-to places for no-frills, affordable and decent Thai food has got to Nakhon Kitchen. Upon peeking through the kitchen, you can actually see Thai chefs whipping up your orders and you can be assured that what you are paying is of a certain value and quality. The usual orders include Basil Pork ($6), Tom Yum Soup ($6) and Kang Kong Thai Style ($6). This time round, I added an additional order of Honey Chicken (also $6) which to my surprise goes very well with white rice. The succulent chicken pieces coated with sweet honey sauce is very appetizing to the palate. Nothing much to rave about the other dishes as they were equally good as usual. This is one place that I will just keep coming back again and again. #hawkerpedia

Here's three popular Thai dessert: Mango Sticky rice, Red ruby and Lod Chong (similar to chendol). The mango sticky rice here is one the best I had, can't get enough of the fresh & thick coconut cream. 😛 Thank you @basilbythaiexpress for having me. So which is your favorite Thai dessert? #basilbythaiexpress
Located at One KM, a new shopping mall at Paya Lebar! Seems like it's getting more eateries at that area 😋 Here's Mango Sticky Rice for you sweet tooth 🍴
Perfect on cold, rainy days!
You probably can't make out what's in that slush of eggy yellow curry, but that's crispy soft-shell crab – large ones, at that. I would be happy just lapping up that sauce with a plate of rice, nothing else needed.
It's available clear, but the addition of milk takes some of the spicy edge off this appetite-whetting hot and sour soup. Ingredients are plentiful, and you can choose to have a bundle of their signature egg noodles added in to make it a substantial one-dish meal.
Pandan chicken (4 for $6), mango salad ($5), tomyum seafood soup ($6), pineapple fried rice ($6), Thai milk tea ($3), mango sticky rice ($5). There's no GST nor svc charge. The food were generally nice as well 😌😌 no complaints!
