Noodle portion was small but the prawn dumpling and beef brisket was really good.

It all started from this warm, buttery, fragrant, layered croissant base topped with soft serve ice cream and accompanied by azuki and green tea powder (in this case chocolate sauce and sliced banana)

ANOTHER OF MY FAVE DESSERT PLACE. Trust me, you'll like this place. So many flavors to choose from, there has to be one that suits your palate. I promise.

The menu looks promising but maybe I ordered the wrong dish? Salted egg sabayon with pork loin and gnocchi marinara . Thumbs up for the presentation though. I've to say that the meat was tender but the asparagus was just thick and flavorless. The gnocchi was pretty much the worst I've eaten (I've only had gnocchi probably 10 times in my life? So maybe they didn't fare that badly) the salted egg didn't leave an impression either.

Located near Hougang Ave 1 is Fu Sin Traditional BKT, cause we were pretty sick of NAS's BKT so we decided to try something new! As compared to the latter, it was also slightly cheaper. The side dishes - tau gey (with salted fish was very crunchy and has the taste of home - my fave side dish), you tiao (fried dough sticks), omelette with minced meat, braised peanuts and blanched lettuce. Overall the BKT was very tasty, the meat was soft and tender (and the portion was very worth the $7.5)

Dimsum is NEVER complete without liu sha bao and egg tart. But the LSB here is purely custard, it doesn't contain salted egg. Meh 😢 but the good thing about Wah lok is that for things like paos and egg tarts, you can order in quantities. For eg, if you only have 2 person, you can just order 2 LSB instead of the usual 3. Same goes for egg tarts! Save money and save calories! The fried durian ice cream as well as the bean curd was super good as well 😍😍😍

Dimsum has gotta be one of my fave food on earth. I have it like once per week (at least). And I love the dimsums here 👍👌 (p/s call to make a reservation at least one day in advance!)
