Carnivore!
It doesn't seem right if you go to an Argentinean restaurant and you don't order the steak especially if you are a meat lover! All the steaks here are imported from Argentina. There are skirt, sirloin, rib eye and beef fillet/tenderloin. The rib eye, cooked medium rare was juicy and succulent, however there was a fatty part which was a bit too chewy for me. Next time i will try another cut then!
Fine quality ingredient matters. This is strongly proven at this take away joint in Tanjong Pagar Centre. It has 5 bar stools if you prefer to eat there, if available! The Iberico pork jowl (cheek) slices over moist rice with umami sauce, with onsen egg, i also added asparagus. The jowl was super melt in your mouth tender and moist with a slight char taste as it was grilled in a josper grill. The special sauce that moisten the rice compliments the meat nicely. And the onsen egg was just perfect! And.. their homemade chili sauce is excellent, dry chili infused sauce with a hint of coriander. A value-for-money meal with superb restaurant quality meal, i'll return soon to try their other signature: black angus sirloin!
Happy to hear that they opened one outlet near my office, so rushed there right away at lunch time. Tremendously enjoyed the Foie Gras Truffle Yakiniku, super yummy! 😍😋😋 Pan seared foie gras drenched in amazing black garlic brown butter, tender-melt-in-your-mouth US black angus short ribs drizzled with truffle soy and onsen egg in the middle. The truffle soy sauce is a bit too mild for me, perhaps not many people like strong tastes (in many things) as i do. But apart from that, it's an excellent mix of flavours and tastes all together. It is $19 for lunch (u.p. $23) and i took the lunch set additional $2 for miso soup, mixed green salad and green tea. Highly recommended! Any recommendations for similar donburi are most welcome.
Combo bento of Wagyu Rump Cap, marbling score 4/5 and 10 hours slow cooked Iberico Pork Cheeks. With onsen egg hidden underneath the rice and meat. The wagyu rump cap is still juicy and the pork cheek is sinfully good, a bit too fatty for me though. It's $15, quite a steal!
Tried this new Texan style BBq smoke house, a casual joint behind Boomerang in Robertson Quay. The beef brisket is my favourite, so tender and smokey, pork ribs and pulled pork are also good, the platter comes with coleslaw and white bread.
A texan style smoke BBQ house i'd been wanted to try. Chosed the platter; a selection of BBQ meats with fall off the bone beef ribs which we liked the most, lamb pastrami with slices of crunchy cucumber and fresh mint leaves, and duck sausage with red cabbage sauerkraut. The set comes with very good and crunchy smoked garlic bread and a choice of side. We chose cauliflower & bleau d'auvergne, which was a brilliant choice! Crunchy cauliflower with the cheese sauce and almond flakes. Highly recommended. Will be back for their beef brisket!
Juicy medium rare steak topped with rocket leaves and slices of parmesan cheese. Warning: The steak has a bit strong hint of garlic. Delicious!
Simply devine! Best steakhouse in SG!
Tried out the newly opened Steak House, and had this trio steak of different meats and cuts, aged wagyu tenderloin, striploin and rib eye. Juicy and tender, with nice char smokey flavor. Food was good, but the staff knowledge of the menu and service were not up to standard, a bit forgiven as they just recently opened? Hope it will get better. Excuse me for a poor photo, our table had very minimum lighting, very dimmed!
Steak with special sauce served with french fries. Asked for medium rare but came up rare. Sent it back to the kitchen to be cooked a bit longer. Dissapointing quality of meat, not sure if i want to go back.
Juicy melt in your mouth ribeye. The japanese sauce is a bit sweet salty citrusy, i prefer just the steak by itself. Medium rare. Enjoyed with sake. Delicious!
