The Awesome First Meal
Got to try these for myself during the media tasting and while I'm not completely a fan, I must say The Missing Pan put quite a refreshing spin on a classic eggs royale dish. Substituting the usual cured slices are chunks of smoked salmon smothered in torched hollandaise, while the eggs themselves are slow-cooked to an oozy, barely-set consistency, topped with seaweed crumbs and served on sourdough toast smeared with avocado. I feel a softer bread would have complemented and served better to mop up all that molten yolk goodness, too.
I reckon this is one of the best scrambled eggs I've had. It just slips down your throat - a result of quality ingredients, watchful cooking and very well-controlled heat. Added my favourite bacon and portobello mushrooms to make it my version of a happy meal.
Probably the only place that tops Unagi and Eggs Benedict, the combination is pretty passable. Reason maybe due to the love of Unagi, that's why. Do take note that the serving of the Hollandaise Sauce is very small though, I guess too much of it will conceal the Unagi Sauce taste, that's why.
Even though the eggs were good, the mildly sweet tomato chorizo sauce drowned the 2 eggs, slabs of manchego cheese and pathetic slices of chorizo was too weird. We gave up the $20 bucks item which did not justify it's presentation. Wild Honey's done it better

Prefer the space here over that at forty hands.
I wouldn't say it's the best eggs benny around, but it's pretty damn good! š The fluffy French toast didn't disappoint too. š
