Super rare to find Sarawak laksa in SG! The soup was good but the prawn was too mushy and the vermicelli was a little over cooked. Still a good bowl of Sarawak laksa if you're craving for some. Their kolo mee was really good too!
I swear this is the best kueh lapis I've ever had. Not too sweet nor oily. The flavours also do not taste overly artificial! 👍👍👍👍👍 look out for kueh lapis by misiah kassim at the Sunday market!!
Everyone said this is a must drink in Kuching. I gave it 3 tries at different coffee shop, but it just taste like teh c beng to me. It only looks fancy,I still prefer Thai milk tea over this.
It was highly recommended but just taste like normal siew mai to me.
Although the kway chap has all the intestines(which I don't eat), it didn't smell. There was even pig trotter inside. So unlike in singapore where you order it separately, it all comes in a big bowl. Cococane was highly recommended, but I was unimpressed, didn't feel that the taste match.
Have been seeing the words "wu wei tang" all over Kuching, so we decided to try it. It was very refreshing!!
Had this local vegetable because my mum was fascinated by how it looked. It was really good! Had a crunch of a vegetable and taste of a pod. Haha. The oyster omelette looked interesting but wasn't to our liking. I still like omelette with an egg taste, the "omelette" was crispy and oily and didn't taste like eggs at all. The tofu was tasty ^^
A true homemade dish. We were hungry after hanging out at annah rais hot spring. Drove around and asked around till we saw this Sunshine cafe(can't geotag it). We were doubtful before entering but the noodles were really springy and flavourful. 😋
The famous desserts made in Kuching. Matterhorn is a refreshing lime juice with pineapples, longans, jellies, cendol jelly and ice. While white lady is a drink with mango syrup, pineapples, longans with shaved ice and evaporated milk. ^^
No idea what to expect till I tasted it. It's like a crispy donut with charsiew inside. Really the best food I had in #kuching.
A ngoh hiang that doesn't look impressive. However it taste really good! Don't know what about it makes it good though. The smoothness of the meat? The fragrant smell? The chilli? It just all goes well together :)
How rare to find pork satay!! I love how the meat is one whole chunk without any fats ^^. The peanut paste is unlike the typical that's chunky and spicy. Quite a nice change though 😋
