Once is Enough
This dish is too overrated I don't know understand why it is on every other table. It just feels something is lacking in the marination. Or the quality is not consistent with crowds.
Iberico Pork Loin with apple purée, potato and bacon millefeuilles. Very small portion for a mains.
Dessert is good but overall the appetizers and mains are expensive. The vongole could use more sauce and the minestrone soup is too salty. Could improve on their service too.
Before you even taste the dish, one look and you already start having doubts of the truffle fries. True enough, there isn't much essence of truffle flavor in the fries. What more, they are understaffed on a prime time Sunday. There were tables with dishes waiting to be cleared, a few empty tables but yet only the manager can usher the people in. People had to self-service and refill their glasses with water. We agreed they need to streamline their operations SOPs.
The paella was too dry and the chicken meat was too tough. Nothing much to shout about.
Looks nice but it is quite dry and lacking the wok hei taste. It is also a bit overpriced, $6 or $8 I can't remember.
