So... people in the office have started commenting that I eat weird stuff, but hey.. those are not weird at all, I just enjoy trying new flavours that look interesting, just like this new National Day release from Burger King - the Hainanese Tendergrill Chicken Burger!! It totally works for me! Absolutely loved the savoury ginger sauce (similar to Soup Restaurant’s Samsui Chicken dip), and you HAVE to top it with the special chilli sauce provided on the side - that’s what makes it legitimately “Hainanese Chicken”! 😍😋🤤 Going to try the Rendang Burger soon too...

but four!! Lol! Thanks Davis for alerting me to this, how could I not try Burger King’s new Teh Tarik Pie, right?! 😉😛 Got my colleagues to try it together at lunch today, it’s actually quite yummy! Not too sweet, I like it! (love their Taro Pie too, btw). In celebration of the upcoming Singapore National Day, give it a try and share your verdict too! 🇸🇬

I'd pretty much told everyone I met these two days how much I wanted to try the new Truffle shaker fries from McDonald's (dubbed McTruffleFries). My brother - infected by my "inception" - decided to order McDonald's home delivery for stay-home lunch today. Looks like Truffle Fries weren't the only fries he got 😜 Lol! Childishness runs in my family! S$5 cheap thrill! 😅 (verdict on Truffle shaker fries: it's not as yucky as many had claimed; just smells a whole lot like truffle fries but tastes nothing like it. Haha.. more like sweet seaweed fries. At least curiosity put to sleep.)

😜 Verdict: Not a big fan of the Ebi Burger, but sweet potato fries were pretty good! 👍🏻

Ordered this, complete with scrambled eggs and cheese from Mcdonald's. The service staff somehow made a mistake and I had an extra sausage in my pack! 😝 Trying this for the first time, and I like it more than the regular muffin buns! Yumms.

Came here for a late lunch, and the place was completely empty, made us wonder if it was even open. Anyway, the custom-burger idea is cool - love the option to mix and match. I ordered a grilled chicken patty with honey oat buns, swiss cheese and sundried tomatoes + a side of spam fries. Serving's pretty generous, sure to fill you up. There are also sweet potato fries and truffle fries on the menu. Not the cheapest of burgers, but fresh ingredients and yummy enough to warrant a return visit :) Btw, they offer free bacon add-on for every burger on Mondays!

A yummy snack I'd never failed to get whenever I visited Taipei XiMenDing... glad it's so much easier to satisfy those cravings now that it's right within reach! ;) Crunchy garlicky goodness...

Not a frequent customer of Wendy's, but this meal was pretty satisfying (by fast food standards) - soft buns, juicy patty, yummy chili beef.

It must have been years since I last had Carl's Junior, went by for a quick lunch with colleague today and decided to try this. The taco was deep fried and a little greasy. Not too bad, wish the cheese was heated/melted... still prefer their burgers anyway :) We've got a free set of vintage Coke coasters each!

Just saw a TV commercial for this - Burger King's new "BK Charcoal Black" burgers - can't seem to find much info. on the web yet, but I guess it should be available, if not soon. Has anyone tried this yet?

Ooh.. check this out! New Ebi Burger launching today (7 Nov)... looks interesting, anyone swinging by McDonald's for first dips? :)
