Came here for a business lunch and sure it is great for that. Ample natural lighting and the marina bay as your backdrop. It’s a little hard to navigate your way up to the 2nd level. The food here is not bad.
This is a no brainer. I loved the meaty flavors and it went really well with the home made pasta. It's worth getting the home made pasta. Love the dedication behind every dish served here. Can't wait to be have this again!
Authentic Italian fare at value for money prices. The medium rare ribeye was done really well. Get the wild boar ragu - probably my fave dish of the night. Reminds me of La Pizzaiola a lot. Comfortable and homely setting. Enjoyed myself!
Enjoyed the spicy kick! Super value for money.
I was looking for a place with really good pasta and ambience. The ambience was intimate yet casual, while the pasta was didn't hit the high expectations. Enjoyed the spicy kick of the pasta, but the prawns were nothing to shout about. Get this if you want something safe that checks the box.
Rich and delicious, particularly loved the handmade pappardelle pasta and the slow-braised lamb shoulder ragout. Nuff said, will gladly order this again!
Love the fact that most, if not all, of the pasta served at Bottura are made fresh in house. Never mind that my tastebuds couldn't really differentiate between the egg n squid ink flavors (the cream sauce masked them too much), these flat, thin, meepok-resembling ribbons of pasta were slippery-smooth and surprisingly quite springy to bite, in a good way.
There's always something comforting tucking into a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. Portico's rendition is an excellent take on this classic; well-seasoned and moist meatballs are coddled in a swathe of al-dente linguine which nicely soaks up the rich tomato sauce. The chopped basil adds a burst of freshness with every bite.
This place has a similar vibe to La Pizzaiola; casual yet authentic. Nested along Tanjong Katong road and among the estates, this place is a natural hotspot for hip families and big groups. Ordered the steak to share and individual mains. It was flavorful, aged, and done medium rare. Will be back for more authentic Italian!
In this new urban/edgy/bare brick Tras St spot, having Italian for dinner has gotten a lot more fun. Don't miss the Pulled Pork & Waffle fries ($15), homemade Gnocchi ($21), and the (omg wait for it) - Triple Cheese & Truffle Toasty at $15. Finish with a gorgeous Cannoli with ricotta, lemon and strawberry.
Spicy salami pizza. Love the light crust and the right blend of mozzarella cheese. Love this place!
