Decent and affordable Tze Char fare, but wished that there were more "Wok Hei" in their dishes.
TGIF what's for lunch today? I'm having TAO's first ever Abalone and Conpoy dumpling made fresh daily using Chef Lee's secret recipe.
The dumplings include indulgent 10-head abalone and Japanese dried conpoy, fragrant braised pork belly, mushrooms and traditional style flavours. Perfect when savoured with their signature Thai-Teochew Chilli sauce.
For those who celebrates the Dragon Boat Festival, dumpling treats awaits at TAO Seafood Asia, and they are now ($18.80) available for purchase, while stocks last.

It's almost that time of the year again on the Chinese culinary calendar where you can savour rice dumplings from plenty of restaurants during the Dragonboat Festival.
Starting from today 18 May till 20 June 2015, you can rediscover Singapore's best-loved flavours with Park Palace's new rice dumplings such as the Chilli Crab, Chicken Rice (my fave) and this local Bak Kut Teh dumpling featuring a whole pork rib in the glutinous rice and eaten with a bowl bak kut teh.
All dumplings ($8.80-$18.80) are available for dine-in, and takeaway. Full details can be found on the web http://www.alainlicious.com/2015/05/park-palace-grand-park-city-hall.html
We took the first dip into Park Palace's uniquely Singaporean dumplings featuring well-loved Singapore dishes like the Chicken Rice, Chilli Crab and Bak Kut Teh.
Featuring firstly, the favorite Hainanese Chicken Rice dumpling ($8.80) which gone through multiple R&Ds to perfect that heady fragrance of chicken rice and filled with tender steamed chicken thigh meat to be paired with Park Palace's house-made chili sauce and garlic with chives.
These innovative dumping creations will be available next week from 18 May to 20 June 2015 along with the traditional HK style Guo Zheng Zhong Dumpling for both dine-in and pre-order takeaways.
Recently tried the handmade Red Bean Rice Dumpling specially imported from Din Tai Fung Taiwan. The soft and chewy glutinous rice is stuffed with finely mashed mild-sweet red bean paste.
Instead of the usual triangular wrap, the dumpling comes in an unique rectangular shape. Enjoy it for only $5.50 per piece, or get yours complimentary with a min. spend of $100 (or $90 for Citibank cardmembers) at all outlets valid till end of June.
Late lunch at Din Tai Fung as we waited close to an hour for a table. Having our favorite pork chop fried rice and XLB is all worth the wait.
