Hawker Must Try
Huge crabs, rich orange roes, pig intestines, pork ribs and solid prawn noodle broth. One of the most enjoyable hot pot sessions I had. I loved the part where the friendly owner came over and just dropped 6 abalones in our pots. Please note that this is not the norm. Wo zhen de you kou fu! They're shifting to old airport road towards the end of October. Thanks Burpple for the recommendation!
As a Hong Konger, my family and I are always on a lookout for the best wanton mee equivalents in Singapore. This is definitely one on the list!
Still one of my favorite prawn noodles in Singapore. Go for the medium or large if you're a big eater. Get it!
The best part of this meal are the fish balls. Every bite of it gives a bouncy sensation. Not to mention the lard polished strands of noodles. Richness comes at a fair price. $4.50 and hours on the bike.
Awesome remedy to a week of cold. You need to order this!
I enjoyed the beef short ribs. So soft and smooth, it just slides down your throat. I really like the charcoal taste and comes with it.
Served steaming hot. Lard layered noodles and pig trotters held hands like best friends. What a joy to have this in this wet weather!
Oh yea, it's back. It's even better when it's just minutes from the office. Al dente noodles, solid sauce & the same old dry char siew.
Love the texture and thickness of the porridge. Quick tip: add an egg and get the fried chicken wing sold next door for a full Veerasamy road experience.
Well worth the walk. Tender, juicy and the flavor floods your senses. Combining the meat with the special sour garlic chili makes it very enjoyable. Will be back again!
Enjoyed it. Fishballs were soft and bouncy, while the noodles were lined with real lard. $4.50 for the small bowl.
One bowl is never enough.
