Lao Huo Tang 老火汤 (Causeway Point)

The flavours of the apples and snow pears were infused thoroughly in the soup. The sweetness of the soup may not suit everyone's palate, but I liked it because it is unique and isn't commonly found in many soup stalls outside. The soup was served with numerous slices of apples and snow pears, with four big chunks of tender pork ribs. For under $10, you can get one free refill of the soup, although one bowl was more than enough for me.

Haven’t had this before - and after trying it - I did not like it at all...!! Didn’t like the taste of dried oysters. But it started to grow on me - and I even asked for a free refill..!! 🤤

@laohuotanggroup is always on mind whenever I'm craving for hot soups. Their soups remind me of my grandma’s cooking. Every day she will prepare hot soup for dinner without missed, even though when she was sick.
