Broth with mild miso taste gets alittle too salty over time 🕰️
Toroniku cha shu (pork jowl) is quite tender with great texture.

S$20 includes honey glazed smoke ribs & turkey ham with red wine cranberry sauce.
The mazesoba is springy and have strong umami flavor. While the ribs and turkey ham give a festive Christmas vibes. This is when the east meet west in a meal.

Located next to Genki Sushi at Suntec City, Kiwami serves up Hokkaido-style Tonkotsu broth ramen. Their menu is pretty simple - ramen & gyoza.

Their ramen options ranged from the plain Tonkotsu to spicy and garlic options. For toppings, you can have it as a bare basic option, or top up for eggs, seaweed, bamboo shoots & the usual suspects.

I opted for the basic which was the Premium Tonkotsu Ramen. What makes it premium is the char Siew, which thick slices of pork collar as opposed to pork belly. The fat to meat ratio in the pork collar was just right, with that extra bounce & bite in every slice which makes pork collar so much better a cut than pork belly.

As for the broth, a thick consistency is observed which makes it extremely tasty without being overbearing.

I tried the black garlic soup base while my friends got the original/spicy soup base.

Rich broth
Tender meat
Yummy hanjuku eggs
Fried garlic slices 💯

Would say it's a decent bowl of ramen and worth the try! 🍜

Also tried the kiwami freezers but tbh wasn't that great. 🥲🥲

overrall, it’s really a good place to satisfy your tonkotsu ramen - you can add mentaiko!🍜 if you ask me choose, rather come here than keisuke🤭 the noodles are really soft and slurpy💯😍 but if ya looking for strong tonkotsu flavored broth, Kiwami is mid-intensity.

Newly opened in @sunteccity, @kiwami_sg is almost your typical ramen joint with comforting ramens, gyozas, fried rice and more. While the base offerings seem normal, they do have interesting variants like the Mala Gyoza which hit all the right notes; just the right amount of numbing flavour in the sauce.
