Got my hand on these bottles of colourful teas from one of taiwan's famous teashops outlet in singapore KECha: Pictured are the Ocean berry (left bottle) which comprises of layers of butterfly pea, strawberry and lemon and the wandergarden (right bottle) which consists of rose, elderflower and butterfly pea.
After a moderately filling lunch, we wanted a nice and cool milk tea to complete the meal. At Jurong, there are many milk tea outlets which include the usual big milk tea brands. However, we wanted to try something new and was more than happy to stumble into KECha at JCube.
.
On the second floor of the mall resides KECha, a small, unassuming stall that actually had 3-5 people standing in front of it, waiting for their order. The menu looked pretty comprehensive and we were certainly attracted to the colourful pictures of their drinks.
.
After careful deliberation, we went with their Earl Grey Milk Tea ($4). The decision was a good one. The drink had a light milky flavour that was very pleasant tasting. It was not too sweet and allowed the strong flavour and aroma of the earl grey tea to shine. We also liked that the drink came in a bear-shaped cup that was insanely cute. You may also pay a bit more and opt for the bottle.
.
The simple milk tea from KECha took us by surprise in terms of both taste and aesthetics. The only downside was that service was a bit slow as there was only one staff. Regardless, we still enjoyed our afternoon tea and will most definitely return for their drinks.
