Essentially their classic acai supplemented with the taste of sourish fruits, crushed nuts and coconut flakes, the flavoured granola would be found at the bottom of the cup. A little inconvenient, but I guessed it was still a reasonably-priced cup of superfood (S$9.50) on days when I wanted to feel a little healthier with my intakes.

I would say that they do have quite unique flavours that gave me reasons to come try out different combinations of the acai, granola and sauce. Probably another plus point would be that should you decide to call this in by delivery, you would get them at their original price (no platform mark-ups)!

Checked out Kahuna Açai, a new açai kiosk located at AMK Hub recently. There are a total of 5 options (Kahuna, Mahalo, Aloha, Maui & Waikiki) of açai bowls to choose from here, and each bowl comes with your choice of homemade granola (The OG, Black Forest, Speculoos, Chai-Spiced, Hawaiian Sunrise) and drizzle (Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, Maple Cinnamon Butter, Oatmeal Raisin Butter, Chai-Spiced Almond Butter).

We tried the Kahuna (cover pic, left) and Mahalo (cover pic, right) - the former is an earl grey infused açai, with fresh fruits, Black Forest granola, almonds, coconut flakes & Cashew Butter drizzle, while the latter is a cacao açai, with bananas, strawberries, The OG granola, almonds, cacao nibs & Oatmeal Raisin Butter drizzle. Both appealed to me in different ways - the Kahuna was light and refreshing with a nice subtle fragrance from the earl grey, while the Mahalo had a heavier, more earthy taste that grew on me after a few mouthfuls!

You can purchase their homemade granola and nut butters in stores too!
