Buns were really small but they were quite nice - slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Kaya and butter was average, didn’t really stand out or anything, couldn’t taste too much of it actually.
Soft boiled eggs unfortunately were overcooked and chunky. They added soy sauce and pepper for us - maybe due to Covid, but there was way too much soy sauce in mine for my liking.
I topped up 20cents to change my drink to Milo, and at least the Milo was great. Quite gao, which I really liked.
Overall a pretty okay set meal, I’d probably go for the kaya toast in Set A instead next time as there’s more bread in that, seems more worth it. If you don’t want so much soya sauce in your eggs, you might want to let them know beforehand.
We visited this cafe on a weekday evening and it was easy enough to get a seat, there’s quite a big seating area. Waiting time was very short which we appreciated.
Located at the second floor of Heart centre (NHCS) and mainly serve Thai style noodles. The spices in the soup packs a punch, worth a try! They serve the usual singaporean breakfast too.
