Both were great to satisfy your sweet tooth!

We are back to have another sweet treat at Jin Yu Man Tang and this time, we got the mango sago with taro balls! The mango-flavoured liquid was thicker than those at most other Chinese dessert shops, and we liked that it was a lot sweeter and more concentrated as well! It comes with a pretty generous serving of chewy taro balls, as well as QQ balls that explode in your mouth with liquid! Also, you can find chunks of mango fruit in your dessert as well, and we were pleased to find that the mango was pretty sweet (and not sour).

We thought this dessert was a great one and given the amount of ingredients, we felt that the $5 charged was really reasonable! The stall was pretty empty on a Thursday evening but if you are visiting on a weekend, be prepared to leave as soon as you finish your dessert as it is going to get pretty crowded.

Dessert are the best and this shop does it well! Both are nice and they do also serve other savoury dishes as well! Will be back to try them out!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Taro cubes, taro ball and sago in coconut milk. A simple and comforting bowl of dessert which may be a little heavy due to the coconut milk base but the taro cubes were firm and fragrant with chewy taro ball and sago 》$4.50

A dessert shop that serves Hong Kong dessert with Chinese decor makes it look very traditional in the east. Firm and silky smooth grass jelly with chewy taro ball and mango cubes in evaporated milk. This is light, refreshing and not too sweet which suits both the young and old 》$4.50

This is the signature must try item here from the menu. We were a bit apprehensive initially as we doubted how good ginger milk can get. But wow we were impressed! A staff will pour hot milk in a bowl with a little ginger juice before covering it and asking you to wait for 4 minutes prior to eating. This was for the milk to solidify into a pudding, which was really smooth and quite creamy! The ginger was strong and gave a warm aftertaste in your throat and belly, which feels super comforting.
