This new concept of korean style takoyaki is still not bad.. octopus/prawn each cost $4.90.. one is alr quite filling.. prefer takoyaki though.
Comes with a variety of flavours such as Potato & Ham, Bacon, Prawn and more. Essentially a Takoyaki-meets-Okonomiyaki, where you get vegetables like corn and other greens sandwiched in between whilst drenched in that umami brown sauce, mayo and lots of dried bonito flakes. Admittedly quite familiar in flavour, but makes for a fun street snack to have.
Signature pancake
Similar to Takoyaki as it has cabbage filling with various ingredients such as spring onion, ginger, egg, prawn, octopus (tako), and bacon, topped with Takoyaki sauce, mayonnaise, chilli sauce, green laver (aonori), and dried bonito shavings (katsuoboshi).
The prawn, tako and bacon versions are priced at $4.90 each, while the rest such as kimchi and egg are priced at $3.90 each.
Available at @JiJimSG in @WestGateSG
Prefer the tako version which one can taste the chewy texture of the tako, the crunchy texture of the vegetable, eggy taste of the egg, and the smoky fish shavings.

Annyeong Haseyo! First taste of this Korean pancake definitely reminded me of Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki balls, especially with the addition of the sweet sauce and bonito flakes toppings. The pancake is made of egg, cabbage, cheese and a topping you choose - Octopus, Shrimp, Mushrooms, Kimchi, Bacon, Bulgogi. I quite liked it though for its price, I'm not sure if I'll order again.
My last post promise. Trying to clear my never ending collection of pics. 😐 this korean hotcake (similar to kpancake) shop claimed to be the first in Singapore to come up with this concept. It was not bad. But for a snack their price is abit steep too. Not sure if I will eat it again soon. #sgfood #opensnap #burpple good night!
