Jia Jia Yong Tau Foo 佳家酿豆腐面 (Chinatown)

I tried the Laksa Yong Tau Foo ($5). The broth is rich and spicy, but it gets a little jelak after a while. Nonetheless, it goes well with the yong tau foo. Overall, glad to find this and would probably return for more!

Chanced upon a Koo Kee-style yong tau foo stall at Chinatown Complex Food Centre! The Signature Noodle ($5) comes with a fixed set of assorted yong tau foo soup and egg noodles with minced meat. The yong tau foo is soft and fresh and the soup is flavourful. The stuffed tau pok is delicious. Noodle wise, the alkaline taste is a little strong but it is still tasty when tossed with minced meat and paired with chilli. Wish the noodle portion is bigger!
