For lunch today, I decided to visit this longest-running Japanese restaurant in Jakarta since 1969.

Kikugawa housed in a bungalow within Menteng neighbourhood, serving some good set menu that served with steamed rice, miso soup, side dish and fruit.

I went for their chicken katsu teriyaki set. Which comes with deep-fried chicken cutlet. Flavourful and tender to enjoy it.

Looking for some hipster spots in Jakarta? Then you should head to Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) where many of the eateries and cafes are located at this CBD area of Jakarta.

Uki Matcha at SCBD Park is one of them that attracts many people to come for their signature matcha drinks and dessert.

If you want something not too rich yet refreshing, I would recommend this one. The matcha is mixed with strawberry coulis, white peach, lychee and rose.

Today I ventured out from the Jakarta Central to South side further in to visit an art gallery, and I found out this famous food stall at the area.

This is something I never try before and surprisingly delicious.

Ketoprak cobek "Pak Yono" serve their signature lontong with keropok on the top. The lontong has a strong peanut sauce with noodles and rice cake.

And all you need to choose the way you want the egg to be cooked. Most people usually go with this scrambled egg.

Looking for meatless meal in Jakarta? Burgreens has a few outlets in the city offering their plant-based foods.

There’s burger, western and asian food available here. I went for their rawon, the local traditional dish in plant-based.
