[CLOSED] Island Creamery (King's Arcade)

Taste of childhood! We always go back to Island Creamery for this Reverso flavour or for slices of their mud pies, while my parents love their pulut hitam. Reverso is dark chocolate with Oreo chunks and crumbs. Even though it’s a bit more sweet, it’s very rich and always satisfies.

Still as good and the old days, but I think the size has gotten a bit smaller. Such a good classic place for decent ice cream!

Some legitimate pandan waffles from island creamy .

My favourite’s always been the very berry and Black Forest gelato . Pretty forgotten ice cream shop - nothing like its former serene centre days but still a nice place to hang out .

Pretty icy very berry ice cream today but the waffle was really good.

Crisp outside and soft inside with a genuine pandan flavour . Was pretty sure that the pandan extract was made from scratch and sure enough it was ( upon my checking from the staff ).

Island Creamery has lost the charm of its earlier days. Service is curt and unfriendly, which was quite a turn off. The serving of double scoop ($7) in each cup also varies considerably and is definitely not worthwhile! Enjoyed the kopi and banana, which were richly flavoured. The teh tarik felt a tad thin and too sweet. The soursop pomegranate was most disappointing - nary a hint of soursop or tartness.
